Outer Banks Market Update December 13, 2023

OFF MARKET Oceanfront – JUST SOLD in Corolla Light on the Outer Banks

My buyers and I had seen this home when it was on the market, but could not justify the asking price with the market comps.  The listing came off the market, and we kept looking, but it still just felt like ‘the one.’ We reconnected with the listing agent, met with a contractor to go over remodel plans, established a price that we felt was fair with the current market data, and decided to submit an offer to see if we could make this work.  We were able to negotiate with the seller, and made it a win-win for all parties!

I have sold real estate on the Outer Banks since 2006, and have seen all kinds of market changes, good and bad. It is so important to work with an agent who understands the current market, can analyze current market data and provide an accurate CMA (comparable market analysis), and who also understands market trends and forecasts. I would love the opportunity to help you and your loved ones find the right investment in 2024!
